Bob's Auto Gleam Booking Terms
1. Terms of Sale
These Bob’s Auto Gleam Booking Terms (“Terms”) are additional terms by which the undersigned customer (“Customer” or “you”) shall abide when receiving services from Bob’s Auto Gleam LLC, a California limited liability company (“Bob’s Auto Gleam”). Before you book an appointment online or via phone with Bob’s Auto Gleam, you shall read and agree to the terms and conditions of the booking. Once an appointment has been made, you are bound under the terms and conditions herein. These Terms apply to all services provided to Customer by Bob’s Auto Gleam, whether mobile or in-shop, regardless of date.
2. Payment Terms & Conditions
Payment for services is due immediately upon completion of the requested service unless otherwise stated in writing. Bob’s Auto Gleam accepts cash, debit cards, credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and Stripe payment links. A 20 percent (20%) non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit is applied toward your final balance. In the event a credit card is declined, the Customer shall immediately provide an alternative payment method to settle the balance. If payment is not resolved within 48 hours of the declined transaction, Bob’s Auto Gleam reserves the right to initiate a collections process to recover the outstanding balance.
3. Late Cancelation & Rescheduling
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances but may be transferred one time to a new appointment date if rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. If the Customer fails to provide 48 hours’ notice or does not appear for the scheduled appointment, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to rebook. No-shows may be charged the full service fee. Bob’s Auto Gleam reserves the right to apply deposits toward lost technician time and reserved materials.
4. Extra Charges
In addition to the agreed-upon price of any services, Bob’s Auto Gleam reserves the right to charge an hourly rate of $75 for any reasonably necessary work (as determined in sole discretion of Bob’s Auto Gleam) that is not within the scope of the original booking. Such work may include, but is not limited to, pet hair, embedded sand, dirt or grass, deep stains, excessive trash, adhesive removal from glass or paint, or any other circumstances that increase the service time. Additionally, a minimum 30% surcharge will be applied to all jobs involving urine, vomit, blood, feces, or other hazardous materials.
5. Booking Terms & Conditions
Customers must remove all personal belongings, money, and other valuable items from their vehicle prior to any detailing service, tint, coating, or PPF service. Bob’s Auto Gleam is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property, including items left inside the vehicle, the vehicle itself, or the service location. Whether services are performed at Bob’s Auto Gleam’s facility or at a mobile service location, the Customer acknowledges that vehicles are serviced at the Customer’s own risk. The Customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is parked or positioned in a lawful, safe, and accessible area suitable for service. If the Customer has any concerns about the service location, they must communicate them to the technician before any services begin.
All vehicles must be in a condition that can withstand standard cleaning, polishing, and film installation processes.
Bob’s Auto Gleam reserves the right to request debit or credit card details to secure a booking. Payments will be processed through FielddPay, Square, Stripe, or other authorized payment platforms. Additionally, Bob’s Auto Gleam reserves the right to modify or reschedule bookings due to staffing availability, weather conditions, equipment malfunctions, or other operational issues.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY HEREIN, CUSTOMER HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE BOB’S AUTO GLEAM, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES OR EMPLOYEES (JOINTLY, “RELEASEES”), FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OF LIABILITY, LOSS OR DAMAGE, AND ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES BEING PROVIDED PURSUANT TO THESE TERMS, INCLUDING THOSE BASED ON THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES AND OTHERS (“LIABILITY”). THE LIABILITY ENCOMPASSES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, ACTIVE OR PASSIVE CONDUCT, PREMISES LIABILITY AND LIABILITY CONCERNING ORDINARY NEGLIGENT SELECTION, USE, OPERATION, DESIGN AND/OR MAINTENANCE OF ANY EQUIPMENT, FACILITY, LOCATION OR SERVICES.
These Terms are intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by law, and it is intended to be fully severable. If any portion of these Terms are held to be invalid, the balance of these Terms shall continue in full legal force and effect. That shall include modifying the Terms to allow the remainder of claims to be waived and released in the event that the inclusion of any particular type of claim is found to be invalid or contrary to public policy. These Terms shall be interpreted and enforced under the laws of the State of California.
6. Vehicle Storage
Vehicles left beyond 24 hours after completion of service may incur a $50 per-day storage fee unless prior arrangements are made. Bob’s Auto Gleam shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles remaining on the premises beyond the agreed pick-up time. If a Customer requests after-hours pickup, the vehicle will be parked outside the facility and the keys secured in a designated lockbox. Once the vehicle is moved outside and keys are placed in the lockbox, Bob’s Auto Gleam assumes no liability for any theft, vandalism, damage, or loss that may occur. By requesting or agreeing to after-hours pickup, the Customer acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for the vehicle and releases Bob’s Auto Gleam from any associated claims or liability.
7. Film and Coating Aftercare
Customer understands that Paint Protection Film, Window Tint, and Ceramic Coating require curing time, during which minor moisture, haze, or bubbles may appear. These are normal and will dissipate naturally as the materials cure. Customer agrees to follow all aftercare instructions provided by Bob’s Auto Gleam. Failure to follow such instructions may void any applicable warranty or complimentary service correction.
8. Window Tint Liability
Bob’s Auto Gleam exercises the utmost care when applying and removing window tint; however, tinting and tint removal services are performed at the Customer’s own risk. Bob’s Auto Gleam is not responsible for pre-existing damage to glass, window film, gaskets, trim, or electrical components, including but not limited to scratches, chips, cracks, or degraded rubber seals. When removing existing tint, rear window defroster lines are particularly fragile, and Bob’s Auto Gleam makes no guarantee that defroster functionality or embedded heating elements will remain intact after removal. By authorizing tint installation or tint removal, the Customer acknowledges these inherent risks and releases Bob’s Auto Gleam from any liability related to damage of this nature.
9. Appointment Time
Due to traffic or exceptional circumstances, our technician might arrive late. Please allow a 30-90 minute arrival window for jobs booked online or by phone. Bob’s Auto Gleam shall use reasonable efforts to let you know about any delay of delivery.
10. Satisfaction Policy
If there is well documented, probable and clear evidence that the service technician did not fulfill the services as ordered, Bob’s Auto Gleam will at our cost redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service free of charge.
